Once you enter your IB account number and confirm you want autotrading enabled, how long does it commonly take for Interactive Brokers to complete the link and fully enable the autotrading?
The normal turn-around time is 2-3 business days. Traders wishing to use the IB Direct connection will need to complete the IB agreement that will enable AutoTrading. C2 provides the agreement via email or traders can access docs HERE. We forward completed agreements to IB for processing and once applied to the trader’s account, AutoTrading can be approved and activated.
