Subscribers can put a limit to the number of futures lots auto-traded in their accounts after every signal , as i understand that limit - for example 2 lots - is per leg , but does it apply to the overall position ? What if the developer kept legging into a position ? I think it is an important feature to be available to the subscribers to be able to put a limit on the overall position .
“Max” applies both to overall position and individual legs.
Just to clarify: if trader is averaging down as 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 lots and you have limit of 2 lots per trade than only first 2 lots will be bought?
Yes only 2 lots will be executed , thats a great feature . Thanks MK another question does it apply to other positions as well , ie long gold 4 lots , short dow 2 lots … etc .

Not exactly true. Scaling is applied both to individual legs of a trade and also overall position sizing.
So in the example mentioned above, assuming 10% AutoTrade scaling, here is what would happen.
Signal 1 issued for Model Account size 5 units
5 x 10% = 0.5 -> rounds down to zero, no trade
Signal 2 issued for Model Account size 5 units
5 x 10% = 0.5 -> rounds down to zero, no trade for this specific signal
Model Account now holds 10 units, however
Model Account holdings of 10 x 10% = 1 unit should be held
C2 issues order to Buy 1
Signal 3 issued for Model Account size 5 units
5 x 10% = 0.5 -> rounds down to zero, no trade for this specific signal
Model Account now holds 15 units, however
Model Account holdings of 15 x 10% = 1.5 units, which rounds down to 1 unit
No additional buy is issued since AutoTrader already holds the 1 unit

Thank you. So my expectations are correct, auto-sync will maintain total position scaled relative to model position.
Yes ok sorry forgot about the auto-sync . Will be there some delay though , ie. five seconds … etc ?
It would also be very useful for the system vendors to be able to stipulate a max number of lots per subscriber. The result will be that you will see better quality systems on this platform and systems would be much easier to price. Regards to all
