C2 doesn't take into account partial fills

So I was shorting 12 contracts of MES, avg price 4793.5

Then I exited my positions:
8 contracts filled long at 4793
4 contracts filled long at 4794.75

but C2 showing all 12 contracts filled at 4794.75 (basically it didn’t show partial fills). Am I gonna have to contact C2 to fix this or is this inherent to C2 not being able to read partial fills (thus penalizing me)

and I got this email which confirms that C2 didn’t read partial closes SMH. Did my subs get screwed?

Hi

Do you see the small orange screen beside the timestamp of each fill ? Click it and you will get all your followers fills .

And no C2 do read partial fills but each fill is determined by the average price of all your followers fills .

I get the follower fills. If you read my first post, you can see it has nothing to do with that. Plus the C2 notification about -4 contracts? I had 4 contracts left over which I closed at market. Apparently C2 treated as 12 contracts instead.

C2 completely missed the 8 of the 12 contracts that was filled at 4793 on my end. But C2 and my subs as well didn’t get that filled (which means they lost more than I did)

It’s not important where you get filled , as i explained earlier the average price is determined by all followers fills and in this case its look like its 4795.07 for the 8 lots . Click at the orange screen to see all the fills in their brokerage accounts .

Regarding limit orders : not all followers will get filled at the desired price unless the market penetrates the limit price .

What happens is when the market touches the limit price or one of the followers gets filled the rest of the order will get converted to a market order .

maybe is it problem with C2 rules for autotrade? I guess there pause between trades - 5 seconds (which is not good for scalping)

I dont know if you’re seeing the problem. the 8 contracts filled at 4793 is filled at about 2:21 EST (my platform is in CST). C2 got the 8 contracts filled at 3:09 EST. That’s not a fill price issue, that’s literally ignoring trade signals from my account (that’s 40 min delay). Basically C2 filled the 8 contracts once all the position is flat (instead of partially like I have shown)

Ok its clear now . But to answer your original question no C2 doesnt ignore partial fills and each fill is treated as a signal . You will not get an answer for your issue here .

Oh well, I sent this to the help desk. Hopefully they will clear this up. Partial fills is normal thing in futures.

Well, it’s confirmed. C2 broker transmit doesn’t even see partial closes. I said they need to put this information somewhere on the site so managers know. I’m glad I paid attention to this because this definitely screws up my subs if i didn’t take into account the missed fills. Unbelievable!
