If you are developing or have developed C2-compatible AutoTrade client software, it’s important that you make the following changes as soon as possible.
We are upgrading the Collective2 infrastructure. The result is that any hard-coded IP addresses you use in your software may not work forever. If you use a hard-coded IP address such as 64.68.145.X (for instance, when initially connecting to Collective2’s server and requesting a re-direct IP), then please change your software to connect instead to the following address:
autotrade.collective2.com
As of the time of this message, we have no plans to change our IP address. Your current software will continue to work. But it’s important that you plan to upgrade your software and have it released to your users as soon as you reasonably can. Contact me if you have any questions.
