I prefer using "Charge only for profitable periods" type of business model for the systems, however I would also like to provide a trial period.
Is it possible to add this option the same as it exists for "Free trial period, then a recurring fee" business model?
It’s easy to do, when you create a new system select “Pay after a profitable period” in the “Choose how your subscribers will pay you” section and then choose week, month or quarter in the “Performance is measured each” subsection.
Do you still support OptionExpress and GFT?
Alexander, you can find a list of supported brokers here:
http://collective2.com/static/info/faq.htm
List from http://collective2.com/static/info/faq.htm is different from https://www.collective2.com/static/aboutAutoTrade.htm.
Also as i know OptionExpress have stopped trading via API, so i need clear answer suppero or not.
I already use "Pay after a profitable period" but would also like to offer free trial period to potential subscribers. This option is not available at the moment.

Thanks for pointing this out. The more up-to-date link is this -

If you choose the pay per profitable model, keep in mind you are essentially giving a free trial period up to the charge date. That is, a customer can unsubscribe on day 29, even if the system is profitable, and not pay.

Hi Alen,
Here is what C2 says about pay-if-profitable systems :
"This is a pay-for-performance system. Subscriptions cost $XX at the end of each month, but only if the system has made profitable recommendations for the period.
To determine profitability, we do not look at your brokerage account, nor do we take into consideration whether you actually placed the trades recommended here. We simply measure the system’s hypothetical track record here on the Collective2 Web site, without factoring fees or commissions. You will not be charged unless the sum of the trades during the period was profitable. (Also, we want to reassure you that a “month” means a full 30-day period. That is, you are billed only if the last 30 days’ worth of trade recommendations were profitable. So it’s safe to subscribe at the end of a calendar month; you’ll still get 30 days’ worth of trades.)"
Are you sure that the customer can still unsubscribe on day 29, even if the system is profitable, since it is not mentioned here?
Thanks.
Hi Igor,
Yes, I’m quite sure.

Hi Alen,
Is it possible to ban a subscriber from re-subscribing if they choose to exit during a profitable period but then leave before the pay date? I’m not interested in dealing with any subscribers that attempt to game the system.
Thanks,
Bryan
Hello Bryan,
MK has said these words before to reassure our system developers -
So far, cheating has not been an issue on C2. Most of our customers are extremely delighted to pay for good systems, and most are not out to cheat you out of a few hundred dollars when they can make thousands using your good trading advice.
Just note, the Unsubscribe feature is available to system developers. This is found in the Admin menu > Subscriber Management.

Yes I read somewhere that C2 can automatically detect and stop that kind of cheating activity, at least in most cases.
Lol…
Hi there Lgor (with an "L") Smirnoff,
You created this account today just to confuse C2 people or are you just passing by?
Just curious.
