Find a Trading System

I clicked on the icons on the home page of C2 to find a trading system.

I first clicked on the icon for Good day-trading.

The following is what I got:

Here is a selection of day-trading systems that have been profitable since we began monitoring them. To qualify as a “Day-trading” system, the average length of time a position is held must be fewer than 8 hours. We show only profitable systems that have been monitored for over 20 days, have closed out at least 10 trades, and were last traded within 3 weeks.

No systems match the criteria you selected.

I then clicked on the icon for Good longer term.

The following is what I got:

Here is a selection of longer-term systems that have been profitable since we began monitoring them. To qualify, the average length of time a position is held must be greater than 8 hours. We show only profitable systems that have been monitored for over two months, have closed out at least 9 trades, and were active within the past 3 weeks.

There were about 22 systems listed ranging in Trade Length from 1.3 days to 83.7 days.

I wish to suggest a different way to classify the systems:

1. Ultra-Short-Term systems: To qualify as a “Ultra-short-term system” system, the average length of time a position is held must be fewer than 2 days. We show only profitable systems that have been monitored for over 20 days, have closed out at least 10 trades, and were last traded within 3 weeks.

2. Short-Term systems: Here is a selection of Short-Term systems that have been profitable since we began monitoring them. To qualify, the average length of time a position is held must be greater than 2 days and less than 10 days. We show only profitable systems that have been monitored for over two months, have closed out at least 9 trades, and were active within the past 3 weeks.

2. Long-Term systems: Here is a selection of Long-Term systems that have been profitable since we began monitoring them. To qualify, the average length of time a position is held must be greater than 9 days and less than 64 days. We show only profitable systems that have been monitored for over two months, have closed out at least 9 trades, and were active within the past 3 weeks.

2. Ultra-Long-Term systems: Here is a selection of Ultra-Long-Term systems that have been profitable since we began monitoring them. To qualify, the average length of time a position is held must be greater than 64 days. We show only profitable systems that have been monitored for over two months, have closed out at least 9 trades, and were active within the past 3 weeks.
