Hello.
I just created a new options system because I want to trade FOREX options and now is a good buy point for one.
I already entered the trade in my personal account, but I can’t find it here on C2.
The symbol is YUK. It’s based on USD/JPY. Any suggestions?
Sorry, I searched the forums for this, but didn’t really find a clear answer about this.
John,
What exchange was the order placed on may be able to find it that way.
Thank you so much for trying to help me Scott!
I’ve tried to research on my broker account/site which exchange these options were traded on in my account, but I couldn’t find it. I also tried to figure out which exchange they are generally traded on, but there doesn’t seem to be one primary one.
I can tell you that they are generally called “ISE FX Options” with a little “tm” after it.
The ones I know of are:
USD/AUD AUX
USD/GBP BPX
USD/CAD CDD
USD/EUR EUI
USD/JPY YUK
USD/MXN PZO
USD/NZD NZD
USD/SEK SKA, and
USD/CHF SFC
I’d appreciate any feedback you might have.
Also, if you or anyone else knows of other FOREX options available, I’d like to know that too!
Thanks!
why not trade options on currency futures? never heard of Forex options until now - are they even liquid? Learn something new every day…
Hi Index,
Thanks for the tip… But I have never touched a future in my life!
I tried to get quotes on futures options, but my broker account says I need to get clearance to trade futures just to get a quote.
… Plus I have no idea what symbol to put in…
Still think it’s a good idea for me?
Update:
I just found another thing: currency ETFs!
And they have options!
I’m going to take some positions on them!
I’d say no. Same for currency ETFs, until you study them for a while.
Thanks Kevin.
