What happened to the “hot” systems list?..Your “best” systems list has a bunch of junk. For example NYMEX has a 100% drawdown and is listed. How about a list of systems with 1. Best return percentage for the last 30, 60 days. And best overall dollar return for 30 and 60. This will help people find new systems that are emerging winners instead of the same old list.
Not sure that is how I would prioritize the “best” systems. Too focused on the short term. What you decribe as emerging winners are more likely to be flashes in the pan. There have been several notable crash and burn systems here of late which I won’t mention by name that would have fit your definition perfectly.
I would want to see systems that have been in play for at least 6 months, made at least 100 trades, have a Sharpe ratio of 2 or more, and have beaten the benchmark S&P 500 over their existence. Good systems will endure and continue to deliver.
As to the current list, perhaps it needs to be updated …
I have to agree with Kevin. There should be a minimum amount of time for not only “best” systems list, but reviews, etc
