Matt, didn’t you have this feature? I can’t find it now and I want to start autotrading my system – am I blind or did you remove it?
Thanks,
Big Cabrito
No, the feature is not currently supported. However, when you start autotrading your own system, there will be benefits. For one, potential subscribers will see that someone is autotrading your system and they will be able to see the real-life fills achieved by autotraders… they just won’t know whether you, the system vendor, are among the autotraders.
Hummm, but I wouldn’t be a subscriber, right? I’m not quite ready to spring for the multibroker Ninjatrader license…
You can autotrade your own system(s) without being a subscriber.
Thank you sir!
what is the vendor’s autotrading fees from C2 if they are “not a subscriber” ?
I would be the only one trading the system (if you mean me as the vendor), so I wouldn’t get any “fees,” but I WOULD benefit from the trades (presumably).
Autotrading fees are determined and charged by the broker. It depends on the broker one chooses. AutoTrading at OptionsXpress, for example, is currently free. OpenECry charges $1.99 (before volume discounts) per contract executed.
C2 also charges a fee for autotrading if using the builtin functionality (3rd Gen). Otherwise, you need to do tradebullet or trader68.
So the question was, does the VENDOR need to pay these fees if they were a subscriber to their their own system as above described?

I was under the impression that 3rd gen autotrading fees are charged by the broker, but eventually were given to C2??? That was what broker told me a while back…
