When do you expect this web site will be marketed more to the investor looking for a system?
If someone were to subscribe to a system today…would it work correctly?

I agree – I think we’re reaching the point where I ought to market Collective2 more heavily to investors. Up to now, I’ve spent most of our marketing dollars attracting system developers, but perhaps we have reached some kind of critical mass in which it is appropriate to attract buyers of trading systems as opposed to sellers.
There are a few things in the works. First, I am actively working on establishing partnerships with online brokers. The idea is to establish a relationship where brokers refer their customers to us. In exchange, customers who subscribe to trading systems here can choose to have trading signals automatically executed in their accounts at these partner brokers. Discussions here are still very early, so I don’t know when (or even if) the first partnership will be announced. But I wanted you to be aware of the possibility.
Second, advertising. Up until now, all of my advertising for Collective2 has been online. I am interested in advertising in print magazines, such as Technical Analysis of Stocks and Commodities and Futures. If you know of other places where you think advertising would be effective - either online or offline - please let me know. I welcome the feedback. Of course, I will keep you informed as I get a firmer idea about when advertising will run. Lead time is typically two or three months in print advertising – much shorter in online advertising.
Finally, let me point out one last thing. There is nothing keeping you – or any other Collective2 member – from advertising his own system. Online marketing is particularly effective. You can use the “Create a shortcut” feature here on Collective2. That will help you create a web address that you can publicize for your own trading system. When people click on the address, or type it into their browser, they will go directly to your trading system. I suggest everyone check out the feature, and - if so inclined - use it.
But, in summary, I fully agree that the responsibility for marketing Collective2 to investors falls on my shoulders. I intend to increase the amount of money I spend on that area. I hope that I will be able to announce – and that you will see for yourselves – results in that area shortly.
Wow. A partnership with a broker would be great, no wait, it would be more than great. As a trade advisor I will do my part to help the success of collective2. I really like this site. There’s a lot of potential here, especially if collective2 is joining up with a broker.
Hey Mat, I wish you and your team all the best in the success of this wed site. And of course I will do my part to the degree that I can from word of month to great trades on the advisory board, including some online plugs.
In fact I’m waiting for my first few trades to be posted so that I can start the yelling about how good your site is from the highest roof top…lol
Best regards,
MoneyRun
Thanks, Ben. Good luck trading!
