New Feature: "My Analyst" Page

One of my jobs is to help you find interesting trading systems.

But I feel that the best kind of jobs are those that you can ask other people to do for you. That’s why I created a new super-duper feature: the “My Analyst” page.

On the surface, your My Analyst page is a place where you can gather all the trading systems that interest you. You can write notes and comments about them. So, in that sense, it’s a kind of glorified "Watch List."

But here’s where it gets interesting. If a system is on your page, you can see a list of other C2 users who have put that system on their My Analyst page. You can then look at their My Analyst page and see if they’ve found anything else interesting which you may have missed.

The idea is: If you find someone who has similar taste as you, and who shares your good judgment, you may rely on that person to find a trading system you wouldn’t otherwise stumble upon.

I’ve also added a space on your My Analyst page where you can fill in your Public Profile – this lets other users know a bit more about you.

I hope you’ll give the new area a try. I have high hopes for it, and think it will add a lot to Collective2. Of course, it’s success depends on how many people choose to participate. So I encourage you to use the My Analyst page, jot down your thoughts about trading systems, and also – and this is important – fill in your Public Profile, so people can learn a bit more about you.

Let me know what you think of this new feature.

This is great! It is exactly like my request for viewing systems side by side. Way to come through MK!

Great feature MK! Also love the new “P” icon

I think this is one of the best new features to come along in a while. Bravo!

I also like the fact that you can’t link to your own systems. I’ll admit it, I tried to. (Hey, what can I say, I’m partial to my systems…)

Great feature MK! Just one suggestion. I added three systems to my page and entered text for all three in the comments boxes. Clicking on the Update Changes button for one system wiped out the text in the other two text boxes. Maybe have an “Update All” button (or something like that) so that all the comment boxes can be updated at once?

Another very useful thing about these pages is that people can update their comment boxes with real-world trading results and have these always live in one place, rather than getting lost in the message boards as time goes by. I plan to start that this weekend with a summary comparison of exactly what I am seeing in my trading account vs. the C2 record for the systems I am trading. The three systems I have now are all doing very well, and better than any of my previous experiences with C2 systems.

'The three systems I have now are all doing very well, and better than any of my previous experiences with C2 systems. '

I would also like to see people post systems and the results for systems that they have had bad experiences also.
