They look too stretched horizontally. Makes the equity curve look flat as a pancake

I agree. Was about to say the same thing.
That is less of an issue for me, although I would like to see the Y-axis scaled from lowest value to highest value (S&P 500 or system equity, whichever is greater).
Y axis is way too compressed.
