Recently Closed Trades Temporarily Excluded from Trade List

Over the past few days I’ve noticed times where the recently closed trades for systems I subscribe to are not shown in the trade list until some time later (maybe an hour or two?) Currently the system is ares, but I noticed it yesterday with Mischmasch Junior. Anyone else experience this?

Yes. All my strategies both TOS and non-TOS systems have this issue. Probably not a big deal since eventually the last trades will show up, but still ideally this should not happen.

Just log out and oddly you will see the trades in your page without logging in .

Refreshing doesnt always work , i had to logout to see the trades , when it happens ofocurse not always…

Refreshing didn’t help now , i log out boom i see my latest trade …

Okay, I think I know what is going on. And I think I fixed it. Maybe. (?)

Let’s see how the next few days look.

I just logged in and viewed the ares system — no trades shown for today or yesterday. What is weird is that earlier today I was able to view the trade for yesterday.

Ug. Damn.

Let me figure this out. (Again.)

Matthew, this is a serious issue. As both trade leader and follower cannot see the latest trades. It can cause problem. I firstly reported last week. It remained unresolved for more than a week. If the code had been changed recently, can the code simply roll back to previous version?

I have been wrong before, so I state this with some humility, but I think I may have solved the issue. I await further gentle feedback:

Using ares again as my test case, the trade from yesterday is not showing in the trade list.

Now we have an even bigger problem, completed trades do not just disappear and reappear, their value can also change!
A $2000 winning trade (long Copper Futures) I just completed seconds ago turned into an instant $80 loss on my trade list, while the market did not move at all ?!?!
In fact the market moved in my favor right from the start, and I clearly saw $2000 profit on the open position window but now it’s gone, just like that.

For C2 technicians here is the proof (see images below).

Today I initiated and closed only one (1) position. On my dashboard we can clearly see that I’ve made over $1800 today thanks to this unique trade ($2000 minus broker’s commission).

But on my trade list it says that I lost $80.

Now I cannot trade anymore because I don’t know what to expect next.

I guess C2 technicians are still working on these “disappearing” trades and that’s why we have this additional problem that I have just reported.

It looks correct to me as I look now. Copper trade profit is correct. But I agree your screen shot showing the copper trade at $80 loss is quite strange. Please report to me if you see this again. Also, it would help if you could save the entire problematic Strategy Details web page as a HTML page and send me the file. (help@collective2.com)

I wouldn’t worry about the $80 loss misshap , it corrects itself within minutes. $80 loss are paid futures commisions i guess …

After closing a trade you instantly can see at what price your order was filled at from the orders tab in the webtrader page . And therefore you will know the status of your closed position.

When I close a position it simply disappears from WebTrader, there is nothing left to see anymore , unless you are talking about something else.

Yes i am talking about the orders tab in the webtrader page not the positions tab , you will see all pending orders and all filled orders including market orders .

Just click on the tab and then you will see what i am talking about…

On the right you will see working/All , click on All to see all orders …

Oh great, thanks for the tip!

So how many completed trades can this Orders tab hold?
