I have read many books about successful traders as well as successful investors. It seems the seems the successful investors have a much better life than the successful traders. The traders are generally high strung or extremely hyper. The investors are calm, composed and methodical.
I think if we look hard enough we can find an edge either way but I am leaning towards investing type or longer time horizon trading. The jury is still out but I am leaning that way.
I would be curious to hear from those of you here that invest in different strategies that trade here have fared long term. Also, to be successful doing what you are doing, how active do you need to be?
This above all: to thine own self be true
– Polonius in Shakespeare’s Hamlet
I have tried and failed too many times to be a successful Investor.
Investing is not in my nature. I am a Trader and shall always be.
