As a Developer - What can I expect

Hi,

I am seriously considering releasing a system or two on the C2 platform. Can any other software developers fill me in on what I can expect in terms of subscribers for a system that performs well? I know this question is somewhat vague. However, I am essentially “paying” to advertise my system on this platform and I have no idea how big the potential paid subscriber base is?? Just like I would only advertise in a newspaper when I understood how many people actually buy the paper…only then would I know if the cost to advertise in that paper is worth it.

So to generalize…for a system that does well…how many subscribers can one expect after 1 month, 3 months, 6 months and 1 year? Do stock system or futures systems attract more paid subscribers?

Any information that you can share about your experiences with this platform would be appreciated.

Hi Jeremy,

I think patience is the name of the game here. The more time your system demonstrates consistent profitability with reasonable DD, the more subs you’ll acquire. For the record, I have 5 and was hoping for more given the number of C2 members and the strong albeit brief performance of my system.I have no idea what percent of them actually PAY to subscribe.

Also, I think systems trading futures have more appeal here, followed by FX and then stocks, but I could be mistaken.
