Bad Fill

Mathew,

You are showing a fill for Seeking Light at 2.0136:

04:03:52 am Likely fill @2.01360 04:04

The market was 15 pips away at the time. No fill.

Not an auspicious start with this system.

Please fill a trouble ticket. Instructions below.

Thanks.

Here is a link that describes how to report a problem with a trouble ticket:

The example above has several screen shots which may help you.

Or, if you prefer, you can follow the text-only instructions below.

How to fill out a trouble ticket:

1) Log in to your C2 account.

2) Go to the trading system in question.

3) Immediately above the trade details, you’ll see an area that says: “What this page displays.” Make sure you turn on: "Report problem links."

4) Now, every executed trade (or unexecuted pending signal) will display a little green question mark. Click the question mark to report a problem with a fill.

I have reported the C2 mistake using the form provided. Thanks for the link.

I consider it a pretty serious and expensive error. When you recoded the mistaken fill on the buy order, you wrongly cancelled the OCO sell.

When the erroneous cancel was corrected and the sell order replaced, the the stop on it was 50 points wider, at 2.0186 instead of 2.0136. The new stop was hit costing me $2500 more of a loss than I would have taken if C2 had not made the mistake and wrongly cancelled the sell trade.

A $2500 error makes the system subscription cost look small in comparison.

Here is what I sent to you in private email:

I am really puzzled by your assertion that C2 filled a trade at 2.0136 when the market was in fact trading at 2.0186. That is not true, as far as I can see. Here’s why.

We track the real life fills people receive in their brokerage accounts when they AutoTrade systems. In the case you report, where you claim that C2’s reported fill of 2.0136 was “15 pips away from market” I see multiple real-life accounts (at multiple brokers) being filled at exactly 2.0136 (or, in one case at 2.0137) – which is exactly what is claimed by the C2 system results.
