I just received an email about my test system, and it said it was going to start charging me for subscribing to my own system. I’m assuming that this is just a minor glitch and that I won’t be charged $200 a month.

This is not a glitch. This is the design.
If you actually subscribe to your own system, you will be charged just like anyone else.
Some people like to experience exactly what subscribers experience, including payments, emails, receipts, etc.
However, there is no reason to subscribe to your own system if you do not want to share in the entire experience (including payment). You can autotrade your own system without subscribing. You’ll see your system is available on the AutoTrade Control Panel, whether you subscribe or not.
