After much thinking we decided to use this strategy: We will manually trade our algorithm using a set of stocks, but put results on C2 for another set and eventually another strategy.
Let me explain why: trading too much a strategy could backfire, and we have no control over how much a subscriber trades, so if subscribers decide to chew more than advised, at least won’t hurt our finances.
Also because of limited capital, we can use stocks with low trading volume, but we will not use them for subscribers, to protect them.
We can configure the algorithm to:
- maximize profit for a certain period of time to keep a stock - we can do it in 30 minutes minimum intervals (must be multiple of 30 minutes) e.g. 9:30AM - 11AM, or 10AM-3PM, or 3PM to next day at 10AM, or 10AM today to next week at 10AM
- use a certain stock list
- select gap between 2 particular stocks instead of individual stocks (improves slightly accuracy if you know what you are willing to hedge against). e.g. instead of looking at A,B and C, we could use A-B, A-C and B-C (A-B means you must LONG A and SHORT B, or SHORT A and LONG B, and never do only one)
- take profit at % gain (we don’t recommended, but if you use to do this anyway, tell us)
- take loss at % lost (we don’t recommended, but if you use to do this anyway, tell us)
- how may trades a week/day are you willing to put with
- are you willing to daytrade?
- are you willing to SHORT?
