C2 AutoTrade stocks on IB?

I believe that IB’s TWS does not allow one to open trades, either long or short, for other than round lot sizes of 100 shares. Is that the case when using C2 AutoTrade as well?

I assume that if my “% of the model account trade size” calculated 99.5 shares, that would be truncated down to zero shares. And that 1099 shares calculated would be truncated to 1000 shares. Is my assumption correct?

Thank you.

The number of shares is rounded down to the nearest integer. In your examples you would trade 99 and 1099 shares. There is no minimum equity share restrictions when using TradeBullet and IB as a broker.

Francis –

Thank you very much for your quick reply.

I’m new to Collective2 and read and reread “About Collective2 AutoTrading” on the C2 website. There was no mention of TradeBullet there. Is there more information on the C2 website relating to TB?

I read on the TB website that TB has three versions, Standard ($35/month). Ultra ($50/month), and Ultra2($70/month). Which version should be used for C2 strategies with IB? If I am using C2 AutoTrading, must I pay for TradeBullet separately, or is it included in the monthly subscription cost of whatever C2 strategies I’m using?

Again, thank you.

You need the Ultra Edition to auto-trade C2 systems and you must subscribe separately from the TB web site (TB is a separate company). There are TB forums with thousands of posts you can read if you want some history here and here

What about my other question, "If I am using C2 AutoTrading, must I pay for TradeBullet separately, or is it included in the monthly subscription cost of whatever C2 strategies I’m using?"

Thank you.

Also, we have a forum on the TB web site as well:

I would still like an answer to my most important question,

“must I pay for TradeBullet separately, or is it included in the monthly subscription cost of whatever C2 strategies I’m using?”

You must subscribe to TradeBullet separately.
