When I first started C2 I created a bunch of different strategies while linking do different brokers, fixing how I sent orders to C2, figuring out what people wanted etc. Basically I started off rough. So, I have about 14 deleted strategies. Yeah I know dumb of me to do. I didn’t realize that they would be on my record etc., which I think is a good feature in C2 and should be kept. I know how to hide them so they are less obvious, but I was thinking about making them all public to provide more transparency. However, I have noticed a problem.
Take this example : https://collective2.com/details/111760880. I killed this strategy back on May 29th, 2017. However, if you go look at it now the stats show what it would be if all the positions in it were continually held after I killed it. I would think that the stats of my previous disgraces should stop when I kill the strategy not follow me in perpetuity. It is weird too because some things update still and others don’t. Like the cumulative return seems to not update but the monthly returns and the equity curve do. If this is how it will be I think perhaps I will do what I can to hide those strategies and not feel bad about it since they are actually misleading anyway.
