Hope this ushers in a new wave of hedged traders…most of the C2 strategies are all boom or bust strategies. Very hard to invest with these boom or bust strategies cuz you never know when they will go bust.

True. If traders (esp long stocks) don’t learn well now, I am not sure they ever will. Hedging can be expensive, but absolutely distils emotion and helps with a good nights sleep - nothing worse than market-paranoia hanging over xmas dinner!
Moreover, it ISOLATES alpha, and shows if you truly have unique alpha generation or if you are just a leveraged piggyback rider.
