Matthew,
I’m trying to diagnose a problem I’m having with TradeBullet.
I’ve subscribed to my own system, ES Oscillation, and should have received a signal to open a new position this afternoon. However, checking with my broker, the trade signal never got all the way through.
Do you have a log, which can show whether my C2 account was logged into the Gen 1 interface between 3:30 pm and 4:45 pm ET today and whether a signal was generated, transmitted and confirmed received. This is not the first time I’ve missed signals, but I’m not sure of the exact cause.
Last week, I turned synchronization on, and TradeBullet failed to receive a trade signal, but did perform an automatic syncronization to close a position out a couple minutes later, so I know some communication is going on.
Jack,
The signal was sent and acknowledged by your TB, but apparently it did not fill. Did you check the Rejected orders tab?
Turns out it the signal was received and rejected. Here’s the response with my account number xxxxxx’d out:

A little more information…
I turn TradeBullet on in the morning to check my current positions and quotes, but then I disconnect and leave it running for its scheduled reconnect at 3:30 pm. I noticed on the reconnect, it produces the following message:
2011-03-07 15:32:11:691 (2011-03-07 20:32 UTC) Symbol ‘ES 03-11 ECBOT’ is not supported by this broker / data provider (InvalidSymbolName)
The symbol is, obviously, not correct, since ES contracts are traded on the GLOBEX.
Is this why it’s getting confused with the ES symbol?
Thank you, Francis, for helping me out, offline, this evening.
I’m going to try the workaround, I mentioned, over the next few days. If it solves the problem, it will be easy for me to perform and I’ll be in good shape.
