Live life... 5% braver

I don’t like your new commercial. https://twitter.com/Collective2/status/1303505752255062016

I feel it is a waste of time, it doesn’t say anything about the advantages of using Collective 2, versus doing it yourself, or using someone else who isn’t completely transparent about there real trades (i.e. a trade room service), or even using a licensed financial adviser who blindly advised you to “keep doing what worked in the past” as your account value decreases.

  1. What is your goal with these commercials?
  2. How do you hope to attract new customers to the platform?
  3. What are your assumptions and beliefs about those customers (i.e. what do they want, what do they fear, etc…)?
  4. How do you measure the effectiveness of these advertisements, and do you ever reveal how effective they are, i.e. our latest advertisement attracted 100 new paying customers to the platform, etc…

I’m happy you care enough about C2 to share your opinion. While I don’t think it’s productive for me to answer your specific questions, I will merely point out that in the U.S., advertising by financial firms has many limitations that are not always obvious at first.

It is a pretty lame ad.
Next time I’d go with more of a Fan Duel or Draft Kings vibe. Stadium announcer, crowd noise etc.
Have a guy sitting in the middle of a boxing ring with a robe and boxing gloves In front of a lap top ready to do his thing. Should be legit, I think etrade does something similar.
