Looking for cheapest futures broker for AutoTrade Subscribers

I tried searching the forums with little success. Looked at IB for $99 per month plus commissions and it seemed more expensive than Ninja Trader at $60/month plus $0.73/contract.

I realize there is an additional Gen3 fee of $1.99/trade.

Subscribers just want lowest rate, not all the bells and whistles.

Thanks for your help!

Hi, Jeremy: I see this is a bit confusing, so hopefully this will clarify:

Collective2 has two AutoTrade pricing models:

  1. An “all-you-can-eat” plan, which costs $99 per month, plus brokerage commissions.

  2. A per-trade plan, which (for futures) costs $1.99 per trade, plus brokerage commissions.

The brokerage commissions do not change under either plan. You pay your broker what you normally would, regardless of the C2 Plan you choose.

So, if you choose option #1 (and your broker choice allows this pricing), then we do NOT charge $1.99 per future.

If you choose option #2, we charge $1.99 per future.

So, more specifically, based on the two choices in your post, you can choose:

Ninja Broker = $1.99 C2 Fee per future
Interactive Brokers = $0 C2 Fee per future, but $99 per month flat fee

In both cases, regular broker commissions and fees apply.

So the $99 only applies to IB as it is the only preferred broker? If my math is correct, two round trips per day ($3.98x2) for a month would be $159.20, plus the Ninja fees ($60/month) and commissions. So the IB price is the cheapest. Do you know if IB charges a fee to allow the AutoTrader feature?

Can you add all of the partner brokers in your “select a broker” wizard to compare fees and commissions? Or, do you have them handy without me calling each one?

Also, any progress with ToS/TDAmeritrade?

IB charges no extra fees to allow C2 AutoTrading.

Regarding Ameritrade and Think-or-Swim, I have no progress to report at this time, but if that changes, I will report it here.
