I am looking into what is going on. This is a significant problem and will affect all fills, stops orders, etc.

Yes, I just had a trade that would have been good for $5k go by the boards because the order wasn’t filled when the stock went through the limit price. I guess all you can do is cancel the order,
which I did, and hope for the best later on. Sometimes you wait weeks to to have a set up go your way, and then when it finally does…? I realize the problem was most likely something you had no control over, but even something small like this can lead to a situation that you never recover from, depending on what happens. You can’t just close the position at market because you close it at a price that’s not even close to where it is in real time. In that way it’s just like real life, and I’ve lost communications before in real time (when the phone cable was cut by a guy on a backhoe) and ended up losing a bundle.

Connectivity is still up and down sporadically. Verizon has agreed to send a repair team sometime before Thursday at 12 noon Eastern time. Who knows if they will honor that promise, or if the repair team will be able to resolve the problem right away? We must hope.
