You can’t think of everything either?

Despite repeated requests for past forum postings showing anything he said representing true value or understanding, there is still complete silence.

Basically, I gave up on discussions with Talking Head, because you finally realize that you are really having a nonversation. Logic has no effect. You can have a better conversation with a potted plant.

For someone who say you don’t care about Chris and doesn’t read his posts, you are really spending a lot of time on him.

I am not out to defend Chris. I don’t care who and where critique comes from as long as it is valid and as I mentioned in other posts, I think Chris had some valid points and is not much different than the critique you have made in the past towards vendors.

Your way of responding can be perceived to be an attempt to redirect attention from the points he made to avoid responding to them and that critique for you is only a one way street.

Frankly this is leaving a very bad taste in my mouth, but this is just my opinion which I am sure doesn’t really mean much to anyone.

Funny you talk about true value, understading and logic. Your website say the following:

==========================================

Futures-Systems.com trades across futures markets (grains, meats, metals, forex, softs, energies, etc.). Positions typically last several weeks. Stock-index futures are nearly untradeable (too much computerized/program trading). We have followed several hundred systems over a ten year period, and have found practically none that last. We had to develop our own unique methods.

Long-term positions have lower commission and slippage, a major drawback. And you dont have to stare at the screen all day!

Profitable our methods have worked for a long time, and we intend to provide you the training resources

Diversification across multiple futures is more balanced than trading the S&P or Nasdaq. Click here for reasons.

==============================================

To summarize, you say:

- you trade futures markets

- not indices, because they are virtually impossible to trade (even though you never tried)

- keep positions for several weeks

- Diversification across multiple futures is more balanced than trading the S&P or Nasdaq.

And then you launched a system contradicting everything you say on your website. You launched a system which trade only indices, trades last less than a day and the diversification you speak of is nowhere to be seen.

See, this is the problem with copying and pasting stuff from sites or retyping stuff from books without any understanding what they mean; you end up “saying” and doing different things without even being aware of it.

I can’t believe you were involved with discussions about position sizing and your idea of position sizing is to look at margin values of contracts. This is amazingly ingnorant and indicates a complete lack of understanding of the topic.

As I said before, I admit that you are a good writer. But please stop pretending that you are trader. You are not fooling anyone anymore. Your standard reply of “show that your posts are more valuable than mine” just doesn’t fly anymore as an excuse not to face reality.

Yes, you will have a better conversation with a potted plant as this is the only time where the other party know less about trading than you.

Fanus,

Actually your opinion has much weight. If C.M. every had anything to say that had some value add, I would probably react differently. But I went back 3 months worth and read every CM post, and then gave up, and never found a single thing other than taunts and rips at various individuals

No one on a forum should expect TLC. But if we push others hard, it is also good to give some credit when due and some value add. I found zero instances in the case of C.M., and gave up reading his posts

I still think all of his posts had good points the last two days. Even his last one about your system offered here being a complete contradiction with your website is interesting. This sound like the kind of thing you would have brought up as well if this was another vendor. I went to your website after the post and find this a surprising contradiction as well.

Honestly, this looks to me that you are using past history to call these posts of no substance to avoid answering the tough questions. But people are not all the same. What I consider a tough question, you consider of no substance. But I do think that some potential subscribers might take a pause by your refusal to offer some kind of answer and explanation.
