Perhaps it would be useful to create a forum for each system where subscribers and the the vendor could communicate freely without concerns about revealing current signals and such to the public.
This feature already exists. Each vendor can create his own system-specific forum here at C2, and can choose whether to make it publicly available, or whether to allow only subscribers.
