No signal via c2ati

Dear collective2 support,

I am using my own trading software to pull signals from collective2 via c2ati ,

I recently subscribed to a system on collective2:

Freedom EURUSD (http://collective2.com/cgi-perl/system89703872)

however, this system sent out several signals yesterday, and there is no signal via c2ati being routed to my trading software, i double checked its http log, no signal at all from this system.

I am using http://autotrade.collective2.com:7878 ?cmd=login&e=xxx@xxx.com&p=xxxx&protoversion=8.2&client=TESTCLIENT&h=xxx&build=1.0.0

to init my session on c2ati, as you see, i am still using TESTCLIENT to identify my trading software , would it be the reason that those signals not being routed properly ?

What’s more,

There is no problem for me to receive signals from C2 Test System (Random) via c2ati,

Is there any limitation on using c2ati to receive signals from other systems than this C2 Test System (Random) ?

look forward to your early reply.

thanks.

Hi, Jac:

As long as the account credentials you use to login to the AutoTrade server are the same account credentials that are subscribed to the system, you should receive new signals from every system you are subscribed to. It doesn’t matter if you are using TESTCLIENT. However, there are some exceptions:

  1. If you never acknowledge the matching OPENING signals, you will not be sent the CLOSING signals. (i.e. you must tell C2 you received the opening signal and confirm them)

  2. Market orders will not be sent more than 2 minutes after they are issued. In other words, if you turn off your computer where the autotrade software client is running at 9:00 am, then turn it on again at 9:10 am, you will not receive opening market order signals issued at 9:02 am.

Without knowing the exact details, and without having a log to look at, I can’t tell you exactly what is happening in your case. What I would need is to know the signal ID #s you think you should have received, and also a log of the request/responses during the time period when you think you should have received them. Then I can try to diagnose the issue (assuming your question is not answered in #1 and #2 above.)

So feel free to send a log of this incident, or any other future incident you have questions about.

Matthew

really sorry about the question,

it seems it is due to my wrong understanding of the usage of c2ati, i checked my http log, it seems I forgot to confirm completetrades signals , that is the reason why collective2 stop sending my any new signal.

After I confirm those completetrades signals , it is working fine now,

Thanks for you quick response.
