Testing on a demo account

Was there a write up somewhere on the steps one could take to subscribe to strategies and have them hooked up to a demo account for testing for a few months before going live with real money?

Isn’t it just a matter of opening a demo account with a broker and then putting in the account number of that demo account into the auto-trade settings?



I have not set up auto trade with a demo account (only my live account) but if you search these forums you will see that others do seem to have successfully auto traded demo accounts. Press Search above, enter “demo account” and select “All terms”.

The C2 wizard is a good start.



Don’t forget, demo accounts like the one from FXCM allows only 2 weeks of evaluation time… needless to say that is way too short even for the fastest trading systems here.
