There is a substantial risk of loss in trading. You should therefore carefully consider
whether such trading is suitable for you in light of your financial condition. You should read,
understand, and consider the Risk Disclosure Statement that is provided by your broker
before you consider trading. Most people who trade lose money.
@saby_u
thank you for the additional details on the CME scammer. i could not comment directly since the post is now locked.
i realized i need to expand my mental construct that no one would risk and lose $140k on a strangers system, especially after seeing the “smart” investors who lost a lot of money in the Theranos scam.
i could not believe it before. it is sad, but now i believe it can happen, to anyone, even smart, rich people.
If you have that much money to throw around, you would think you’d have the assets to go and meet the person face to face and do a thorough background check. Couple thou is nothing when you could lose everything you put in.

agree with both of you. This is my first experience with scamming. I have learnt my lesson and usually do not make a mistake twice. My purpose for the thread was to ensure other subscribers on C2 are careful.
