"Typical Commission"

What is the typical commission that is used to deduct from gross P/L? How is it determined?

Thanks,

Michael Zweighaft

At freetrade, you pay $5 and can trade unlimited shares per trade. It looks like C2 charged too much for commission.

$0.01 per stock share

$2.50 per future contract per side

$1.00 per option lot

These are fairly typical discount brokerage commissions.

For 2000 shares traded C2 deducts $40 per roundtrip. Matthew that is not typical discount broker commission. Please change that. It should be no more than $20 per round trip. No daytrader pays $40.00 per round trip stock trade. I pay $24 per round trip, and I’m switching to an LLC where it’s 0.002 and 0.005 per share. 0.005 is $20 per round trip on 2000 shares.

Here are some commission rates:

Matthew, please review C2 commissions and bring it in line with discount brokerage rates.
